closed starter for @fadingobjectrp Damian and Kyle
It was a rather prestigious gala, although it was no surprise to anyone when it came to Damian. The CEO was rather famously known for his wealth and the extravagent events he would put on. None of it was done without reason; whether it was charity work, putting out a new product release, or showcasing his company's accomplishments for that quarter, there was always something to look forward to. As such, the events were often gatekept by exclusive invitations and attended by a who's who of the financial elites and celebrities alike. No one wanted to be caught missing out on these events, if they cared about their status.
But tonight, Damian was particularly excited for one guest in particular. With Kyle in attendance as a reporter, the CEO was more than eager to show the other man how he operated professionally, and also how eager he was to claim Kyle as his own. Whether they were in public or in private, he didn't mind one bit. As he weaved throughout the crowd with his two secretaries and entourage of bodyguards following after him, Damian gave out his pleasantries and welcomes as necessary. But his eyes were set out on one person in particular, and like a shark sensing blood in the water, the businessman swam through the crowd with a growing hunger.
Stepping in front of the other guest to cut off the interview (or perhaps it was just a simple greeting; Damian wasn't sure nor did he care about who it was), the large man smiled warmly at Kyle. "I do believe I'm owed an interview by this esteemed journalist, no?" he teased lightly with amusement flickering over his lips. "Or would you prefer a more private setting with me? I know things here can be quite different than back home," Damian purred, no doubt happy to let it slip just how involved he was with Kyle. Judging from the flinches from his assistants, the CEO knew he was dancing on the edge of some spicy tabloid reportings tomorrow. "My feelings would be quite hurt if you ignored me the whole night. Even if it was for your job."
