Hi! this is a mini rant of mine because it honestly bugs me, if you do this, don't take offense /srs!! It's just,,, irritating (and you probably don't even do it intentionally lmaoooo)
please Please PLEASE start using gn terms for gn! reader fics!! often when I see a GN! Reader fic, it uses female terms exclusively, even things such as Girlfriend, despite the reader's gender is intended to be ambiguous!! I often only search for GN or Male pronouned readers because I'm a FtM trans person and Female x Canon is pretty upsetting sometimes
Things you can use INSTEAD of feminine terms on GN fics Instead of gorgeous (a mostly used compliment for women) use Hotstuff, Cutie, Striking, etc as those are used for either men or women.
Instead of GF/BF, use S/O. simple enough!
Now, you may be asking "is this REALLY that important to some people?"
YES!!
To some people who use pronouns other than the ones they were assigned at birth, this can be mildly (or even extremely) upsetting, I understand if you only do GN and Fem (or Masc) exclusively, but GN is meant to be ambiguous so that people who identify differently from your other option(s) can also enjoy your fics
