Yes, this is the Mewtwo 23k gold plated trading card from way back in the day with the certificate of authenticity. A friend gave this to me (he told me to pick one) and it's been a pride of my pokemon memorabilia ever since.

I don’t know if that’s actual canon but its a theory a lot of people subscribe to (myself included- I say mostly mew with Alakazam and human) There’s a couple terms - Genetic Hybrid, gene edited species, etc. An actual Chimera in biology terms is something MUCH different (but no less interesting) Where early in development one embryo absorbs its twin and a single being is born that’s technically two. Animals with two different eye colors is an example of this.
In the manga, Blaine was a gentic donor to Mewtwo, so I feel like that one’s up for grabs. And if they were putting human DNA in there, it’s not a stretch to expect they probably put other pokemon DNA in there as well. While it’s not really focused on in any canon, clearly some kind of gene editing happened for Mewtwo to be so different from Mew.
Genetic hybrid sounds like a fitting one :)
