Please read a special note in the OOC.
At this time please unfollow Daren Bokassa and Raymond “Ray” Émile, unfortunately Jen has decided to leave us for personal reasons. She is of course welcome back at anytime and we will miss her dearly and wish her the best.
The role of Ray will be re-opened shortly. The role of Daren will be re-opened and will return to the original FC of Samuel L. Jackson.
Our next chatzy event is tentatively scheduled for Sunday November 23rd at 1 PM. This is the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Please like this post if you are able to make it. If you are going out of town for the holiday, or have another commitment, please let us know ASAP so that we can plot accurately.
We are now officially moving away from a ‘real-time-timeline‘, slowing things down in the process. Starting tonight, the date or time-frame will be announced on the dash, so please follow the tag #faemasonsdate to check for the latest update. The ritual sacrifice of the Hunter, as well as Edmund’s summoning spell will be posted on the dash. Anyone wishing to say their character was there and wanting to play either of those events out is welcome to do so, as well anything that occurred during the chatzy time jump. Keep in mind that the party occurred Oct 31st game time and that Edmund’s summoning is going to occur Nov 1st game time. It will now be essentially that you mark the date on your post so that people don’t get confused between game time and real time. In the next few days it will be possible to write out the aftermath of the party and the other events on the dash before we move forward in time again. This doesn’t mean that conversations have to be finished by the time we announce a new date, but please keep in mind the game time and try to stay up to date with it. We hope that doing this will make it a lot easier to have everything be closer to the new game time than before when all of our conversations were outdated.
If you have any questions regarding this feel free to shoot us a message or ask them in the OOC. There is also another admin post in the OOC that we ask that everyone read.
This is a reminder that our Halloween Costume Ball chatzy event will be held tomorrow Sunday October 26th at 1 PM EST. Please be on time. The link will be posted in the OOC at approximately 12:30 PM.
While the event is on Sunday in real time, the party will actually be held Friday October 31st at 7 PM in game. It will be dark by 6 PM, so Vampires will have no problem ;)
This is a fun little game and we want you all to play and have fun.
Go to other peoples’ ask-boxes and ask the characters anon questions. Keep in mind that you ask the character and not the player and anon hate will not be tolerated. You have to make sure that both your ask and anon settings are turned on.
You can ask one question per message (a follow up ‘why?’ would be okay though), but you can ask as many questions as you like. Everything goes but use trigger warnings if you think it’s necessary. (As a rule of thumb: if you wonder if a TW is necessary it probably is.) If you don’t feel comfortable answering a question just send a message to the main to let us know.
These questions are a means to get to know your characters better and the more people participate, the more fun it will be for everyone.
Questions can be answered IC or OOC about the character. The answers are not common knowledge but are considered canon for the character.
Example: Q: What’s your favorite color? A(IC): My favorite color is definitely red. It reminds me of the blood of my prey. A (OOC): Victoria’s favorite color is red because it reminds her of the color of blood.
This week we are continuing off of the Wednesday prompt which leads into the chatzy this weekend. Feel free to ask anything about any fall rituals, traditions and celebrations. The most common ones are Halloween, Samhain, and Winter Nights, but feel free to ask anything about fall. Anything goes as long as it fits into one of those categories.
So go wild my lovelies and have lots of fun.
(This event is open from now until 12 PM SUNDAY afternoon. (We’re cutting it off before the Chatzy begins). Questions can be answered later, but have to be asked by that time.)
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT – Fall Celebrations
Many cultures have a fall festival or something to celebrate the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. For the Norse, it is Vetrnætr, also known as Winter Nights. For the Gaelic, it is Samhain, which was adopted by many pagan religions. The Christians turned it into All Saint's Day and then it was modernized into Halloween. What does your character celebrate and what traditions do they carry on to this day? Do they celebrate Halloween or not? Are there rituals they carry out? What does this time of year mean to them, to their family, to their race? Feel free to write, post pictures or both ;)
Every Wednesday we post a character development question and we will try to keep it interesting. Participation is not strictly mandatory (though highly encouraged to get to know your character better), but we think it’s fair to ask that everyone answers at least one per month (as stated in the rules regarding prompts).
Please tag all answers to this with #faemasonsprompt. Answers are not common knowledge, but are considered canon for the character. Prompts may be answered at any time, but preferably within the week they are given.
Please follow Owen Sanford and welcome Missi to DC! Please make sure you are following everyone on the follow page as well as the main page, WFCR Faemasons Radio and The Council Chronicle. Also make sure you are tracking these tags.
