My fey au fic The Cursed is getting officially a twin fic!
It was originally planned to start posting the new one after it finished, but I've got to a point in the story now that I can keep both going at the same time without one spoilering the other too much.
The twin fic, called The Blessed, is going to be mostly on the boy's pov. Starting with Time, but eventually having bits and pieces of the others too. The romance officially will happen in The Blessed so I changed the Malink tag to it too!

Spoilers for the most recent chapter of The Blessed
So in the most recent chapter there was a festival for the faeri called Farore's Day. It was mostly through Wind and Wild's pov, but focusing on Wind's part when he noticed that Malon looked amazed by everything.
It was based on my own experience watching a samba school for the first time. It marked me forever not just because of the crowd because that's something else. The moment when the band stopped playing and everyone just burst into song together during the chorus while the dancers continued. When the chorus was over and the band played like the first beat of drums again, fireworks exploded in the same moment everyone raised their hands (it wa spart of the choreography). Honestly that was one single moment that felt magical and so I wanted something similar to them. The faeri dance and the movements are what gathers and directs the magic around. And they crash afterwards because I had cramps for days after one night just watching, so they will feel it too. It's also why not all of them dance or drink, they need a decent amount of faeri able to walk, cook, clean (and in the boy's case, fight if needed) when so many of the others can't move for the whole day.
I think I mentioned changing shoes to dance this chapter or the previous one. It's based on my friend that can dance through a whole party and change her shoes while dancing. It's something I found funny to imagine the boys doing, like kicking their boots off, grabbing one a new pair of shoes and putting them in place without stopping. So imagine like those spins you can do to lift a person off ground? Yeah, they use those to change shoes.
Three of the boys have mates/partners (Wild, Twilight and Sky). Faeri with more animal traits have a bigger need for groups/families, the others were not directly mentioned because otherwise it'd be too big but they're there with them. The faeri's concept of mates is more about partnership, trust and magic compatibility.
Wind is excited to show Malon around because (1) he really hopes she can become Time's partner, as Time is a wolf faeri so he feels the need for family, (2) Wind thinks if she knew more about their world she'd be convinced to come live with them.
Until that moment they don't know the whole truth about time travel and the loops. They know Time's version, that he looped one week for a little more than a year and that Malon saved them but they don't know her version, that she was killed by different versions of them.
But now Wild got a tip. And they will know.
