Tell me about a book that changed your perspective on something important.

Ah, I don't really remember any books changing my perspective, maybe deepening my existing ideas or introducing new perspectives but I can't think of any in particular. Though I suppose that Death Note did kind of make me think more about the idea of whether murder can ever be justifiable (though again it didn't so much change my perspective as make me think deeper about it) if that counts?

If you were to write a book, what sort of book would it be?

Writing is the sort of thing that I like doing but can't come up with any ideas that work as a long plot, so it would probably end up being something more factual and informative, possibly about history.

If you could freeze your body to stay at one age, which age would it be?

I suppose I would go with mid twenties, it's meant to be around the 'prime of your life' and everything.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I definitely want to visit Japan for the interesting culture and good food and also all the new technology they get there first.

Give an example of a song or album which reflects you as an individual.

I don't listen to that much music and when I do it is often film/game/anime soundtracks so I can't think of anything

Which foreign language would you most like to speak?

I would have trouble choosing between German and Japanese because I've studied both and really like both of them.

Predict your future 10 years from now.

Hopefully I'll have a job, no idea what I'd be doing and aside from that probably doing exactly what I'm doing now; blogging, playing sport and cosplaying.

Tell me your favourite video game and why it’s your favourite.

It would have to be Assassin's Creed because it's a fun game and I love history and you just get to play around in history and have fun. Also the characters are brilliant.

Why did you get Tumblr in the first place? 

Loads of my friends had tumblr so I thought 'what the hell'. I was not expecting it to take over my life.

If you were a dog, what breed(s) would you be?

A husky or a German Shepherd

If you could pass any bill/legislation/law, which would you pick?

Since you can't really make a law to stop people being dicks to each other I'd have to go with equality for all genders, ethnicities, sexualities etc. in everything.

Just to say, on your post about if people should learn knitting or crochet, Different stitches will produce a different fabric and also use different amounts of yarn. Crochet doesn't always use more yarn than knitting.

That is true.  An open lacy crochet will use less yarn than a solid knit. But in general, if you're just doing the very basic knit stitch vs. the very basic crochet stitch, crochet will use more yarn.  

Also, if you're doing a lot of open lacy kind of fabric, it's a LOT easier to do and (in my opinion) looks better in crochet.
