Summary
You've been running for as long as you could remember.
Ever since that fateful day that you had accidentally killed your high school sweetheart... You've never stopped running, have never looked back, as you couldn't deal with the memories that awoke within your mind because of the action.
You don't know what you are, not truly anyway, but you're certain that you're not completely human as you once thought. The scrappy runaway that tags along with you only brings that fact home.
Ten years pass, with you you running from the darkness of your past, but you should have known that it would eventually catch up with you.
One can only run for so long before they're caught. You just never expected to be pulled into the whole world connected to the one you're used to living in-- as well as a murder case that seems way too familiar.
Will you be able to survive your induction into the Fae World? The place you were always meant to be?
Or will you always remain a person running from their past? Never truly finding where they belong.
Features
Play as an MC that only wants to figure out where they belong. While also dealing with the revelation that they're an incubus/succubus. (Inspired by the wonderful show Lost Girl.)
Customizable MC: name, gender, sexuality, appearance, and more!
Will you allow the Fae World to pull you under its alluring presence? Or will you stick to the human roots that raised you? A mixture of both?
Which side will you sway more towards? The Light Fae-- the bringers of peace and honor? The Dark Fae-- the bringers of chaos and deception? Or will you choose to remain unaligned?
Solve a murder that has all the hallmarks of what you had done in the past. Will you be able to clear your name while fighting the darkness of your memories?
Romance 1 of 5 possible options-- from the compassionate human doctor to the sullen shifter. Poly possibility with N and R.
Find you way within a world you were always meant to be apart of.
Will you finally be able to find the thing you've been searching for all this time?
Faeted has been bound!!
So I was recently contacted by @brunheiffer, a member of a group called Renegade Bindery, who had bound themself a gorgeous copy of my Faeted Good Omens AU trilogy and wondered if I might like a copy as well.
After I picked my jaw up off the floor --because their bindings were GORGEOUS and I can't believe there's a group of people who just DO this for fanfic authors whose works have meant something to them--I said yes please and they've been working hard behind the scenes ever since to get me a set of my very own.
Well they arrived and I am *over the moon*.
They are so amazing! Gorgeous covers. Placeholder ribbons with little gems!
It gets even better once you open it. First, there are sparkly endplates and I adore them.
Y'all, look at this. A real table of contents. And a title page with the art I used online!
And the actual layout is gorgeous. I've seen small press novels that aren't laid out this nicely, with big wide margins and gorgeous text and these wonderful little curlicues on each chapter.
I can't believe the amount of work that went into laying this out. This was no small task. And all my author's comments at the end of each chapter were lovingly moved to an appendix. Hours. Days. Weeks of work. I have no idea, but I know it was a lot.
Lots of fun little details too, like a list of other works I've done at the front, and then a sweet little page at the back of each volume where they incorporated some praise from actual comments people left on the stories on AO3. ( @izabella95 look, you’re in here!)
It's the nicest, coolest thing anyone has ever done for me and I'm just simply overwhelmed and helplessly in love with these books, and this group, and the lovely person who did this for me.
They will eventually go live on a shelf, but right now I'm so enamored with them that I can't stop looking at them or touching them so they are living on my writing desk, right next to my Crowley and Aziraphale snake plushies, so that I can see them and be inspired to write even more.
@brunheiffer , you literally made my day, month, even possibly my year by doing this. Thank you so, so much! As someone who's been off writing novels and trying to get an agent to publish one of them for the last 2.5 years, it's such a pick me up to be reminded that there are people out there who know my online stories and were moved by them!
If you'll excuse me, I think I have to go flip through one of these again.
@ineffably-good this is really shit but I promised I’d draw my Grianathema ship sooo here it is. Hope that you like it
Ooo curious about the Moon’s Sun and Faeted (really hope I spelt that right lol) 👀🤍
The Moon's Sun.
As for Faeted?
It's loosely based around the show Lost Girl. Wherein the MC is a incubus/succubus that's been on the run ever since they killed their high-school SO (having no idea they were Fae until they matured into it). Of course, you can only spend so much time running before your past catches up with you. Or the world of the Fae, rather.
Pulled into a hidden world within the mortal realm, the MC has to come to terms with who and what they are. Will you stick to the human roots that raised you? Or will you shift into the alluring world of the Fae? A mixture of both?
Nothing could be complete without a murder, of course. Especially when it's a murder that has all the hallmarks of a Sex Fae. Will you be able to find the culprit?
ROs range from a Human Doctor to a sulky Wolf-Shifter to a bubbly Fairy.

Faeted
By megzseattle ( @ineffably-good )
Summary:
Ezra fell is an English professor at a prestigious academy for boys. Crowley is the lord of the Unseelie court in the lands without sunrise or moonfall. Somehow fate will bring them together.

I adore megzseattle’s works (go check out the Serpent and the Seagull series too!). Obviously I’m a sucker for a human AU, even if only one of them is human. ;) This was very sweet and a great read! Highly recommended.

Are the fae ruled by a queen?
The Light Fae and Dark Fae are ruled by two separate entities. You can technically see them as being a King/Queen but they’re elected. Or chosen by the Council.
Ravenna is the leader of the Dark Fae and Elhael is the leader of the Light Fae.
What different species of Fae are there? Also, are most members of a certain species more likely to support one particular side in terms of Light and Dark Fae or do the two species not really divide on species lines?
There’s many types (that I wouldn’t be able to name off the top of my head). From various shifters, to fairies, to valkyrae, and many more. Most “fantasy” creatures or mythological creatures would be considered Fae in this story.
Incubi/Succubi are usually considered Dark Fae. While a Fae like Fairies would be considered Light Fae, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t exceptions.
