I got home from surgery last night, and my adult cat (Beltane) has been diligently protecting me from the younger cat's antics, including smacking him out of midair when he almost jumped right on my chest where I had the surgery, and keeping close to me. She is the best kitty, I love her. I want to do something special for her this year, but I'm not sure what. She's not much into catnip or toys.

The way they did the eyes in Coco kind of creeps me out...but other than that, the art style is beautiful!

That’s always the trouble with putting eyes in skeleton sockets when designing them. You walk a very fine line between nice aesthetics, and uncanny and creepy. Funny enough, this was something I was worried about when I saw the trailer, but now that I’ve seen the movie, I’m not really bothered by it….for the most part. Something about putting eye lashes on the eyeballs themselves for the female skeletons still looks a tad odd to me. Not to the point where it’s distracting, but it’s weird to think about. ^^;
