A Texas National Guard soldier has drowned while trying to rescue migrants in a river at the state’s border with Mexico, multiple sources told Fox News on Friday.
Joseph R. Biden, Jr. – This serviceman’s blood is squarely on your hands!!!
This death, like the 13 others in Afghanistan, is a result of your failed policies and failure to lead this country!! If your DHS had only been enforcing the LAWS THAT ARE ALREADY ON THE BOOKS, it would not have been necessary for the State of Texas to have to mobilize their National Guard and have them placed into harms way.
Now I have served in the military, Active Duty and National Guard, and I have been in both warzones and in relief efforts like the one in Texas. There is a different mindset for each because in one people are actively shooting at you and in the other you’re helping them through a bad time. Never, not once, when performing a relief effort did I ever feel like I was placing my life in jeopardy. Now, due to failed border policies, the State of Texas is having to protect themselves from an oncoming horde hell bent for leather on invading the US and is doing it with police and National Guard troops!!
And now, one of our nations sons has given his life for what? A failed border policy that is allowing thousands of illegal immigrants to cross our borders and get into our country!! Now some Texan family has lost a son, brother, father, or maybe a grandpa for what?? Thousands of illegal immigrants entering our country.
Maybe a better policy for the Police and National Guard troops stationed there should be non-intervention until the illegal immigrants are actually on the dry land of the United States. If they are floundering in the river, well, that’s just too bad for them!!
So thank you Brandon for having such failing policies that they are costing people their lives – again!! How much blood do you need on your hands before you see the error of your ways and at least start enforcing the laws that are already on the books!!
The difference between W. Bush and Trump is that Bush knows that he isn’t that smart.
I’m not even saying “Heh, heh, Bush was dumb.” I’m not insulting his intelligence in this case. He undoubtedly had some skills other than spending his father’s money, but Bush at least knew he was not the ultimate authority on every topic. Even through numerous instances of corruption and bungling Bush didn’t assume he had to micromanage every piece of the Federal apparatus and only install wild-eyed ideological loyalists to every post and have most of the government run by his kids and former business partners. Bush at least could take advice and delegate. Trump is a meglomaniacal “strong man” who can’t even admit he didn’t know something that isn’t part of his wheel house. If he didn’t know it, it’s because “Nobody knew about this.” except in most cases, everyone knows better.
Anti-American Socialist Progressive Liberal propagandists are constantly working (24/7/365) to blame the Mighty Trump Administration for their own FAILED POLICIES!
Despite his administration's efforts to pare back federal regulations on business, in cases that have been challenged in court, Trump has fared quite poorly, according to a nonpartisan think tank sponsored by the New York University School of Law.
Thankfully Trump’s tweets are ham-stringing his presidency. Trump loses over 90% of court cases brought against him, his own tweets are frequently submitted as evidence of bias, racism and false assumptions. It turn out you have to actually explain your reasoning to the court when making a rule change. We can be thankful the president is a lazy, irrational baby and not a competent criminal.
Republicans rolled out a new tax reform package just ahead of the midterms.
This just in, Republicans can’t do simple math. Low wage workers gain ~$40 a month in their pay checks from tax cuts, yet they also know Republicans if they get their way, want to take away ~$200 in healthcare subsidies a month. That’s a net $160 loss or a loss of healthcare services. Not something people are going to be enthusiastic about.
Trump’s entire methodology seems to be “Why don’t we do this anymore? Lets do this thing we used to do before. It was great!” Not taking an actual look at the history of it and that there are strong, concrete reasons we have acted like we do for the last fifty years.
Trade wars- ultimately punish the consumer
Foreign aid “for free”- we were basically buying good will and people were more likely to listen to us diplomatically and feel positive about America
NATO membership- because nobody wants to mess with the strongest alliance on earth
Coal- it’s dirty, it makes people sick and its only cheap when subsidized and exempted from standard job safety regulations
“Gun free School Zones are the problem!” chanted regardless of the fact that almost every school shooting is by a student or former student taking out real or perceived persecution by the institution and/or its students. The objects of their revenge would be no safer inside a gun free zone than outside.
Not to mention that there were armed guards inside this “gun free” zone, and that was no deterrent.
