Had a pretty good workout today. I fell squatting and a guy was like "are you okay?!" and I was like haha, yeah. That's why you squat in a squat rack. I was just exhausted which I kinda expected. I also had a lot of trouble getting up the 25 DB on my left arm when I was overhead pressing. It sucks not being able to get the weight up, but what really sucks is letting it mess with your head which I didn't let it do! I finished my workout and worked my ass off. Did some burpees today which were awesome! I need to start doing them more often. I felt really solid too. My snatches were really good too. Just gotta focus on the positive.
I can't wait to deadlift on Friday! I'm deadlifting with a friend because I keep psyching myself out thinking that I'm breaking form. So with him spotting me, I'm pretty confident I'm going to PR. My test went well too! Yay!
Success comes from failure. Gotta fail first.
