#failing successfully

when something catastrophic happens in my fic that makes me not want to read through it so now i can lock in for AP and my english project

SO– cucumber skin is bitter, but my brain forgot this fact because I usually really like to have the skins on the vegetables and fruit I eat, I don't tend to peel stuff (besides carrots)

So I was making a cucumber salad and I realized it tasted really bitter. Easy solution? Cut off the skin. My brain? Did not even think of this. So instead I decided the only solution was to make a balsamic honey-mustard dressing and put apples in my cucumber salad

My Dad came downstairs and was like; WTF? Why is there apple in the cucumber salad? And I said the cucumber was bitter, and he said: So why is the skin on the cucumber? Because he's smart and remembered that cucumber skin is the bitter part... And I'm stupid

But this concoction tastes good so I failed successfully at making a cucumber salad
