Old truths and new lies. (open)
Bobby hadn’t been to this particular dumping-ground in ages. but he needed to load oup on some supplies he kept here, and he also needed to check some of the books stored here to see if he had any leads on the Bounty hunter. he’d been trying to remember where he kept his old Colt stuff.
He was only halfway surprised to find an old beat-up box that had belonged to JOhn Winchester. Carved into the top were the words “Old Truths” And on the Inside were the words, “New lies.” He knew there was something about the box, some reason he had kept it, but he didn’t know quite what it was.
It was one of the few things that John had left him a box of what seemed like random clues, and a book of what he took to be bad latin, enochian, or possibly both.
So far the only thing he found that seemed like it made any sense was an incantation, some sort of high powered Rituale Romaum.
“Ego Imrecantur, Ira cael;
Ego Dicimus ut ignis;
Desenndat super vos spiritum;
Immundum in Nomine Patris
Et fili, Et sprittus Sancit Spiritus Vade.”
He recognized the church latin, a little corrupted but most of the best incantations were
“I call-” Bobby said going into translation mode. “No, it’s I call down. I call down the wrath of heaven.
I call down Fire--” Bobby went thorugh his rusty latin a bit. “Fire on you Unclean sprit... in the name...” He didn’t finish it. He knew what it was, what it had to be. It was the spell the pair of them had been looking for for ages. The incatation capable of killing a demon without killing the host form. The holy grail of hunting
Why had John hidden this from him?
He took the box and his supplies and got back to the hunt he was on, but he still couldn’t shake the thought that there was something about this particular set of things that he should remember.
He knew better than to hunt Distracted, which is why he just sort of shrugged, and said “oh balls’ as he saw the rock descending stars exploded and he was out.
A while later he opened his eyes and he wasn’t in the forest.
“Balls” He needed to find the box and get to the bottom of why John had hidden it.
“hello”
