what's your favorite family recipe from your family, and who does it come from? you don't have to share the secrets of course, but tell us what it is!

Hmmmm a hard decision....mostly because i love food so much! I’ll go with a main dish and a dessert!

My mom always made the absolute best chicken and rice casserole thing, there was even bacon on the bottom! I’m pretty sure that it was a recipe of my MawMaw’s but past that I’m not sure.

My Grandmother’s chocolate pie was also one of my favorite dishes, I’ve tried to recreate it but have never been able to get it quite right, I swear it was faery food!

there's so many beautiful nature photos on your blog, including some of your own aah!! i feel like you're someone who also doesn't mind insects (good choice) so, do you have a favorite insect? or maybe i judged wrong..

ahh thank you!!! i love bugs, except for spiders which i have a phobia of lol :/ i’ve never given it much thought, but i think my favorite insect would probably be praying mantises! every summer we get tons of them around my house and i love letting them crawl around on my arm and carrying them around!!!
