Isabelle was nervous as all get out. This was her first big outing since she moved to Fairford and it was much needed but she also didn't know what to expect. She definitely had to truly get to know more people other than her boss and roomie, so this felt like the perfect opportunity but boy was she shaking in her proverbial boots. Walking over to the bar, she grabbed a Sparkling Pink Mimosa and took a slow sip, savoring it as she turned to look around at the sea of people.

After picking up an extra shift for one of her co-workers, Phoebe was beginning to regret it. Not only had there been a constant rush of people flowing in, but she had already broken down into tears thanks to some asshole who yelled at her for forgetting to get him the refill he asked for. On top of that, he barely even left her a tip. She managed to sneak off into the back to let her emotions out and calm down. It wasn’t until a co-worker notified her a new table had been seated in her section that she wiped her tear stained cheeks and bravely strutted back out into the dining room. “What can I get you guys started with?” She asked, trying her best to put on a fake smile.

“How much coffee is really in one of these?” Emerson hummed, lifting the iced coffee and eyeing it. Sure, it was winter, but sometimes an iced coffee was the way to go, and Emerson may or may not have been on her third one of the day. And she was hoping she wasn’t going to suffer from a caffeine crash later on. The redhead wasn’t a coffee addict by any means, and didn’t rely on caffeine to get through the day or anything, but sipping on something was maybe a bad habit of hers.

Currently, Olivia was between the aisles at Main Street Records, unsure of which section she was in specifically. It didn't matter, though, she was here to discover new artists and to take a look around their selection of CD's and vinyls. She bopped her head to the song that was playing over the speakers, losing herself in the lyrics and melody. She loved that about record stores, always consisting of little-known, incredible music. The current song made her feel like she was being transported somewhere else in the most incredible way, it felt like a comfortable warmth seeped through her veins. With a contented sigh, she spoke, loud enough for anyone near her to hear her, "what's this song? It's quite good."

"Here," says Mal, pushing one of her two drinks into the hand of the first person she comes across. "I don't like these stupid peppermint holiday drinks, you have it." Hearing suddenly behind her the voice of the customer whose coffees she'd probably just taken, and who is now questioning one of the baristas, she adds, "You might wanna make sure that name on there is covered, though. You're welcome. Merry Christmas or happy holidays or whatever."

Athena would’ve been sat in her regular corner of the café, which she is a frequent patron of. An avid space that is one of her favourite locations to visit — having found the atmosphere and environment conducive to get her work done in. Ever since she moved to Fairford, the young lawyer has managed to make the town’s best kept secret into her most preferred safe haven for when she needed the refuge of the haunt away from the bustling rowdyness of her fellow peere, which made the shared office bullpen space at the firm impossible to find any peaceful quiet in order for her to concentrate to achieve the desired productivity she required to conquer all of the piles of training workloads flawlessly with perfection, even despite the less than conducive noises produced by the activities of the pain in her neck colleagues.
Plus, it definitely didn’t hurt as an added benefit that the baristas working there were all very good eye-candy that weren’t bad on hurting the eyes, if she may provide her brutally honest opinion, but would never be caught dead giving an admission verbally as a confession. The lawyer was drowning knee-deep in the fine-print details of a case from one of the firm’s most important and highly respected, valued clients, which just meant that she could not afford anything breaking her attention and causing her to screw up her fine-tooth combing endeavours after somehow managing to acquire the opportunity to e an assist on the case if she wanted to still have any sort of future in the legal industry after this case is said and over with when they succeeded in putting it to bed. Finally managing to look up from her laptop after having been hunched over it to the extent that a knot formed in her neck from the sheer tension, she straightened her posture and took a large gulp of her now lukewarm cup of liquid gold in the form of a double-shot espresso mocha. Seeing someone new enter from her desk, she greeted politely with a highly clear eloquence confidently. ❝ I recommend their lattes, if you’re here for a caffeine boost. ❞
