The Midnight Queen
By Andre Partridge
So essentially “The Midnight Queen” soon starts where the previous story of “The Midnight Kingdom” left off where we see the now Princess Rajani currently living the high life within her new luxurious home of the mysterious & particularly small Midnight Kingdom alongside the elderly King Nadir & Queen Maya of the Midnight Kingdom who had recently taken her in as their newly adopted daughter thus officially making her the new princess of the land.
But what Princess Rajani didn’t know was that not only that her new regal parents were actually about to die soon due to their advanced age (thus leaving their newly adopted daughter as the sole heir to the kingdom) but the Midnight Kingdom itself has a deep secret about it, which is that the longer someone stays as the Queen of the kingdom, the bigger, taller, stronger & older they’ll become. But when Princess Rajani soon becomes aware of these facts for herself, she becomes very sad that her new parents will not have much time left to live but she was also very confused about why only the Queen of the Kingdom would grow to be so big, tall, strong & powerful.
So, to answer the princess’s question, the shadowy royal vizier soon explained that The Midnight Kingdom itself was originally built about 300 years ago by a great, kind & powerful witch named Manjula the Great who was a master of the mystic arts was who originally tried to help people with her immense knowledge of both magic & medicine. But unfortunately, some of the people she had helped grew to fear her magical healing powers as they began to think that she was actually a sinister demon in disguise as the people soon turned against her & other kindly witches like her out of fear, ignorance & disgust. So ultimately, Manjula the Great & her other witch friends all fled to the vast desert wastes to escape persecution as Manjula ultimately decided make her own magical kingdom that would be hidden away from the outside world & would only appear in the dead of night so it would act as a safe haven for not only witches & mystics but for the outcasts, the homeless, the poor, the disabled & other misunderstood & mistreated peoples of society as Manjula The Great even transformed herself into a great & mighty giant in order to protect the people that she grew to love & care for from then on, as all of the ruling queens of the Midnight Kingdom afterwards would all eventually magically grow & transform into a mighty giants in order for them to protect the kingdom from any kind of threats to the kingdom and its people.
So shortly after realizing all of this for herself, Princess Rajani soon decided to become the next queen of the Midnight Kingdom to honor her kind & caring adoptive parents as shortly after King Nadir & Queen Maya had both peacefully passed away in their sleep several weeks later, the small young Princess Rajani soon began to rapidly grow & age into the new big, fat, tall, strong, but also kind, caring, sweet, wise & beautiful giant adult queen of The Kingdom over the course of only seven nights as she had magically traded away her own youth in order to repay the Kingdom’s kindness, hospitality & generosity towards her as their new powerful queen as the new Queen Rajani soon lived happily ever after within her new home as the Midnight Kingdom’s newest magical protector.
The End.
The Midnight Kingdom By Andre Partridge
So essentially “The Midnight Kingdom” tells the tale of a young, small, poor & lonely orphan girl named Rajani who was forced into becoming a beggar & a thief after her own mother’s tragic death at a very young age in a small oasis town that she lived in as she was ultimately chased out of her village for stealing a ruby ring from the local prince so she could actually sell it for some food to eat as the prince soon forced her to wander a vast & seemingly endless desert for the rest of her days as punishment for her crimes until one night she soon ventures out & finds herself in a seemingly luxurious little gaslit kingdom in the middle of the vast desert that apparently only appears in the dead of night where she soon finds herself ominously greeted by the mysterious shadowy citizens of the kingdom whom the childless elderly King & Queen of the kingdom immediately treat Rajani like royalty as the two of them soon take the small orphaned child into their massive ebony palace as they soon made the small girl feel at home & cater to her every whim with unparalleled kindness as Rajani soon decides to never leave this seemingly endless nighttime paradise of hers in the middle of nowhere as the kingdom’s King & Queen then decided to make the young Rajani their new daughter.
Then shortly after eating her fill during the massive banquet the shadowy citizens had just graciously given her, Rajani soon began to wander around & explore her new home within The Midnight Kingdom as while she was walking around the the rather dark & narrow streets of the local bazaar of this particularly small kingdom, she was soon startled by the sudden appearance of a massive Scarlet Manticore flying overhead as the scarlet manticore appears to be hunting down the various shadowy citizens of the kingdom for its next meal as Rajani tried her best to find a good place to hide far away from the monster.
But when Rajani soon sees a small shadowy boy who was about to be eaten by the Scarlet Manticore, Rajani soon sees a large ivory horn hanging from the nearby grocery stand next to her as she soon quickly grabs the large ivory horn & blows on it with all her might as the roaring sound from the large ivory horn soon stopped the manticore dead in its tracks as the Scarlet Manticore soon fled into the moonlit night sky in sheer terror as Rajani ultimately saved the small shadowy boy as the citizens of the kingdom soon praised her for her own quick thinking & bravery as the now Princess Rajani soon lived happily ever after within her new home.
The End.
The B.B.W. (The Big Bad Wolf)
So, here’s a fun Werewolf-Themed Weird Western short story that I was just thinking about doing soon in the form of a “twisted fairy tale” where this alternate weird western version of Little Red Riding Hood takes an unexpected turn where The Big Bad Wolf (real name "Jack DeWolfe") goes to the grandmother’s cabin in the woods & tries to eat/impersonate her like in the original story but The Grandmother (real name "Violeta Santiago") instead shoots him dead with a nearby shotgun that was hidden underneath her bed after a rather rough & bloody fight between the two of them as The Grandmother soon realizes that The Big Bad Wolf was actually a werewolf outlaw the whole time as she soon rapidly transforms into a big, beefy & beautiful werewolf from her new bite & claw marks she has all over her body now within mere minutes before her own granddaughter Little Red Riding Hood (real name "Rosita Santiago") suddenly shows up at her doorstep as the story picks up again with a wild new direction.
So yeah, I also just thinking that my own personal version of Little Red would be curious at first as she starts listening off the various physical things that changed about her grandma before she finally figures out that grandma is the new Big Bad Wolf where Little Red herself would be terrified at first as the whole revelation that she just witnessed was pretty hard to swallow, so Little Red’s Granny tried to show off all the good she can still do despite being all buff, beefy & fluffy now, but the first thing she did shortly after Little Red found out was to actually convince her that she isn't the old big bad wolf again in disguise but her actual sweet old grandmother. Plus, I think it would be super cute & funny for a big buff granny wolf gilf to try & look innocent as usual while making cookies for her favorite granddaughter yet to Little Red herself, it all still looks pretty gruesome.
Not to mention that I would also like to think that eventually Little Red herself would figure out that this whole new Big Bad Wolf right in front of her is really just her same little old Granny the whole time as she immediately recognizes her own grandmother’s usual homemade cooking as she further examines her granny’s new beefy hulking stud wolf body.
Meanwhile the Woodsman (real name "Elijah Freeman") would finally show up shortly after he saw the Old Big Bad Wolf sneak into Granny’s house hours earlier while he was busy cutting some firewood nearby as he soon decided to rush into the cabin to save Granny while also believing that Granny is just the Old Big Bad Wolf in disguise as “The New Big Bad Wolf Granny” has to defend herself & Little Red from the well-meaning but delusional Woodsman & try to explain the whole weird situation to him before he seriously hurts himself or someone else.
So finally, with everyone on the same page now, the sunrise soon comes out as Granny is finally able to transform herself back to her old human self again as both Little Red & The Woodsman promise her that they’ll be helping her with mastering her newly acquired lycanthropy & utilizing said magical affliction for good while protecting the local residents of the forest from other supernatural threats as “The New Big Bad Wolf” as they all live happily ever after together as I’ll call this particular story “The BBW: The Big Bad Wolf”!!
