I think Mabel would rather be a fairy than a mermaid in Monster Falls AU
Mermaid!Mabel looks cute but doesn't really fit Mabel. Mabel is all about movement and shiny things. As mermaid Mabel has to be in water all the time and that just reduces her ability to cause mayhem. Plus as a fairy she can make her own glitter.
