i am as surprised as you are, but at the same time i’m not. the fanbase is desperate, we are in a time of need and we’ll take everything and anything that’s thrown our way, be it old pictures or made up quotes about billie joe taking a shit.

Awwww, thank you! I did end up posting some of them here and not tagging them, in hopes that would keep the worst of the vitriol away. Honestly, I probably would have been okay tagging them since McAvoy wasn't in them. I think that was the problem last time--since McAvoy was in them, they got picked up by that crowd. I'm sure I can count the number of people who track the Anne-Marie tag and I probably know all of them, so I probably would have been okay.
In general, I obviously 100% believe all of those things and I'm glad you and all the other people who sent messages and commented and stuff support me posting pictures of her and stuff, but it's just...exhausting. Sometimes I just don't have the emotional energy to deal with seeing all of those comments pass across my dashboard should things turn south as they did last week. And it sucks that I have to weigh "Well, is this outfit okay? Are people going to make fun of it and parlay that into making fun of her? If they do, am I in a good place to turn off tumblr for the night or shake it off, or is my brain being crappy?" but...I do. I mean, even that same night we had someone literally cutting her out of a picture. Her hand with her goddamn wedding ring was still on his shoulder, but I guess there weren't enough pictures of him alone so they had to go and make another one by snipping her out.
So yeah, it's rough to be a huge fan of someone whose husband has a zillion overzealous and sometimes unthinking or unkind fans, but...so it goes. Hopefully soon enough this last thing will be far enough in the past that I go back to overzealously posting every picture of her I can find on the internet without worrying about McAvoy's fans being catty :)

Not that I mind. 1. I'm taller than most of my favourite actors/actresses. 2. I've been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (verbally so far, but they told me someone should've seen this way earlier. I'm 25 now, so I've been struggling with lots of things for as long as I can remember). 3. I don't read nearly enough books and when I do I stop in the middle and end up reading the other half months later. It's book blasphemy, I know. I do read tons of fanfiction on a daily basis. 4. I travel to London as often as I can because I think life is too short and I really want to do that type of crazy stuff (premieres, conventions, other events,...). Because why not? London doesn't scare me, unlike most other things in life (like looking for a nice job, family meetings, ...). 5. I'm fluent in three languages and understand/can read three more. There, hope that was any good. ;p so not interesting here I'll be tagging at random again. :)
