Ron glanced up from the edge of the astronomy tower where he sat with his legs dangling off the edge. He gave the girl a shrug. “S’alright,” he mumbled. The jeers of the Slytherins from earlier that day still rung in his ears but he wouldn’t let her see him cry. Instead, he sat there slumped against the wall. “I just needed some fresh air.” He paused for a long moment. “Anyway, not like I need someone to check on me,” he added, a bit snippy.
