"You've improved." He hadn't expected anything less, in truth. Despite his harsh and unforgiving nature, he was proud of her growth, slow though it was. Even prouder when he returned after his 30 long years of 'soul-searching' to find her a true vampire. He felt a little guilty, disobeying orders and leaving Celes and his master alone for so long, but if it didn't bring about their strength in his absence! It was like his heart was fit to burst - he has never been more proud!

He steps into the room, noting the changes in the furniture. Integra's tastes haven't changed, which was a nice comfort after so long, but the place still felt strange and foreign. A smile crosses his lips and from ear to ear as he takes note of her changes. Celes Victoria, the policewoman. At least, that's what she was when they first met- and what a tumultuous first meeting it was. Turned into a vampire the night she died; thrust into the care of the Hellsing Agency and forced to adapt and learn to be a vampire. She had put up quite the resistance initially, much to Alucard's annoyance, but it wasn't like he didn't understand. It was a difficult transformation and one that took time, even for the best among them. Even him.

"What have you learned in the time I've been gone, girl?" He inquires, taking his spot by the windows in the room, moving aside the curtains to stare out at the yard drenched beneath pale moonlight. "Were there any that attempted to take advantage of my absence?"

"WAIT KITTY HOLD UP—" But it's too late, Kitty came at him with speed he couldn't react fast enough to, and soon enough, he finds himself on the floor with an excitable robot clinging to him.

He groans a bit from the impact of the fall and the strength of Kitty's hug, but as soon as she loosened her hold, Roi would sigh and give the bot a pat to her head.

Deep breath in, long exhale out.. dainty form stills in her seat, digits and muscles relaxing. It was so nice of Baxter to offer his services to her -- that's his job, of course, but this was a personal appointment! And though he had offered a non-invasive approach to her issue, Niffty wanted to see how the inner workings of her wrist truly functioned.

He's so delicate with her, despite her insistence that numbing agents weren't necessary. Her pain tolerance is considered particularly abnormal, from what she's been informed, and it is a statement that rewards her with the raised brows of intrigue from the angler when he makes his incisions.

She's careful not to be in the way of the overhead lamp, despite the procedure taking place on her desk. Her curious gaze is distracted as she makes mental notes of his various features and traits, from the thickness of his glasses to the minor indents in his rubber gloves from the lightest cuts or chemical burns. His overbite isn't too extreme, endearingly reminding her a bit of a piranha ; he smells faintly of ethanol, making her wonder what sorts of projects the angler gets up to in his off-hours.

the words, harsh and true, clench something bitter in his chest. he grits his teeth, knuckles whiten as his fist clenches tight. the world is full of ugliness, and all he's been doing is justifying everything; for the greater good he'd say. his willingness to turn a blind eye had been chipped away at for years now. ( first kakashi, then lee ) what's this now? ANOTHER TRAGIC FATE, surely, but gai neither had the energy nor the willingness for a motivational speech right now.

what's kakashi entitled to, having witnessed loss after loss; his hands stained with darkness and blood. what's his dear lee entitled to, forced to become a jinchuriki, endured scorn, shoved into the root despite it being his certain ruin? ( and what's gai entitled to, his own needs so readily ignored in favor of those he loved )

divine flames dance in tandem with his fists, they twist, ache and bend to his will; the land of fire's prize jinchuriki was not to be underestimated, his training lasts from dawn to dusk, and though lee had already shattered boulders and mountain sides, went through several iron wood trees and sparred with every imaginary foe he could think off - he showed no signs of stopping any time soon. and if one, tayuya, was so fortunate as to witness such a nigh divine dance of maito lee and the nijuu's fire, they might think it utter madness / the nigh infinite amount of natural energy flowing through every fiber of his mucles, and the way the jinchuriki used it.
