While the storms had calmed down a few months ago I decided to step out and enjoy the petrichor. I thought the clouds and fog were aesthetic in the trees so I tried to get a photo. Unfortunately I couldn't get the fog on the picture. When I went back about 5 minutes later to delete the failed pictures, I spotted something weird. Very weird.
The cloud cover was very thick so the moon and stars were not visible as well as the moon would be behind me from where I was standing. It could have been a lense flare from the streetlight but who knows. I should also mention that it was still too cold for any bugs big enough to reflect like that to be active. Just goes to show how weird this place can be sometimes.
