     ×  ———  “  … !!!”  The moment happened pretty quick. As soon as Kieran turned his head around to spot the person who just allowed themselves to touch him there, he noticed Arthur already taking off. The smirk on the outlaw’s face was still clearly visible, though. Yes, he just did that. Yes, fully intentional. The confidence the other was carrying with him all the time was something Kieran only aspired to have. Eventually, Arthur seemed to stop, turning around to face the boy. Kieran was still eyeing him in disbelief. 

     “   Y-you..? You just did that?  –Are you okay, Arthur?   ”   Maybe that wasn’t the right question to ask. Because Arthur’s smile was giving a clear answer to that. Kieran still wasn’t sure how to react to that, so he just smiled back awkwardly and continued to walk.

                                          nonverbal starters !

                 ❛❛ oh  arthur , ❜❜ the shake of her head indicates that she finds the proffered hand waiting to lead her around in something akin to a waltz almost silly .  she covers her mouth with her hand , stifling a tired smile . abigail nearly tells him that she’s too old for dancing , before it dawns on her that being twenty - one and claiming to be too old for anything to a man fifteen years her senior would be foolish . what a funny thing time is . she feels , after all she has endured , so much older than twenty - one . 

                 her gaze flickers up first to the very insistent hand , and then to the face of the man who offers it to her. a moment passes before she reluctantly places her hand in his , an over-exaggerated sigh escaping her as she stands. the warble of dutch’s gramophone lulls her into a false sense of comfort. abigail places her hand on arthur’s shoulder , briefly resting her head atop it as the two sway.

TRUTHFULLY my first playthru of rdr2 i didnt spend a lot of time in camp so i didn't have the biggest appreciation of abigail until the very end and it may have only been a few days of reading your writing but youve increased that appreciation tenfold no joke, im like looking at her now in my 2nd playthru w ur meta and writing in mind and i just, wow, i rly love her so much, youve put so much love and care into her and it SHOWS n it Sticks with everyone who reads it, good job

t b h ? the fact that my writing / or let’s be real , constant posting about abigail is influencing the way that you’re experiencing a playthrough is genuinely one of the biggest compliments that i could ever receive ? genuinely , it makes me so honored to hear that you’re taking time to look at a character that maybe you wouldn’t have before ? my heart is so full right now , thank you for this. i’ve so enjoyed reading your arthur so far ! 

particularly , i think the way you write dialogue  &  mannerisms just ? * chef kiss * i can hear arthur’s head in my voice when i read your posts , and i can’t wait to continue to read more of your fabulous take, and interact with you  !

“ Gonna’ shoot me? Huh ??? Shoot me, motherfucker, shoot me! ” Sometimes, even a world class detective like himself considers the business of getting into trouble. He was supposed to be solving it, but not before he caused some. Cases got nowhere if he didn’t push. Antagonizing someone with a gun maybe wasn’t his greatest choice of them all, but he was just too cute to lodge a bullet into!

Such was a hard call to make, seeing as he spits a string of profanity Arthur’s way. Fluffy fist is raised, downright shaking with his amounting anger. “ I’ll piss on you next if you don’t put that thing down, trust me! I already bit’cha, didn’t I? ”

"You done good with Jack. I mean it." Arthur cups a hand over Abigail's on her knee, a chuckle light on his lips, "John too, I s'pose. You'll make a man outta him yet."

                she watches jack with a careful eye , trying to make out just what he’s poking at with his stick . silly boy . arthur speaks , and as much as she wants to take pride in the words uttered to her , she cannot find it in her . a half - smile and a long exhale is all she can offer him . 

        ❛❛  he’s a miracle , that boy. ❜❜ abigail wriggles her arm around arthur’s looping them together as she rests the side of her head against his shoulder .  her teeth graze her lower lip .  ❛❛ and as for john , well. if he ain’t a man yet  , i don’t know if he’ll ever get here. ❜❜                      a glance back to her boy , before she emits a sorry excuse for a laugh.

             ❛❛ if he does , i don’t think it’ll have been for my sake . he wouldn’t do that for me. ❜❜
