⚠️PSA: fake commissioners on #digital art posts⚠️
Sadly for us, artists, if you tag your newest illustrations with #digital art tag, you'll receive a comment of someone allegedly interested in commission you.
I was exceptical, so I investigated their profile, their AI icon, and looks completly like a bot. I went to the #digital art tag, sort by newest, and every artist that used this tag to share their art received the same type of comment.
Not sure if @staff could check this behaviour, but protect yourselves, specially with this lousy lie for people like artists that we truly need to be commissioned to go on.
Stay safe and creative!
oooo these bots are getting spicy 😂😂
honestly when i saw this i went straight to end of it because i knew it was prob a fake lol
BRO THE SCAMMERS KEEP FINDING MEEEEE 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
I wanna be funny and say this is ableism but im genuinely on the spectrum and get anxiety attacks if I cannot tell if something someone i saying to me thats serious is real or fake as I take everything literally. So broooo im fighting for my life in my DMS again ❤️
How to Spot a Scammer Update: a new photo was posted this morning, and within one hour it had over 700 comments. As seen above, a string of more than 80 comments that appear to be generic flattering adjectives ripped from a paragraph, many with attached commas. There were also the typical blocks of dozens of emojis strings as well, as well as the copies of short pickup lines that Alex Mucci pays to have posted onto her Instagram photos. @instagram
Just an update on the FCC's fake comments!
I found not only my deceased mother's name but also my father's and one of my two sisters' names on what appear to us to be false comments. Specifically in the case of my sister, I discovered what looks to me like the FCC using their own goddamn bots.
Below are screenshots of the two comments that appear to be fake. Notice how the letter attached is exactly the same? The name attached is the same too (blocking out her surname because my sister is a minor) but the addresses, which I can't verify are real or not, are different.
Please check the names of yourself and your family through the NYC Attorney General’s site! The investigation is ongoing!
I had my mom check to see if any fake comments to the FCC had been made in her name. Keep in mind, she hadn't even heard of Net Neutrality until a week ago when I was talking about how I was emailing my reps.
When she checked, there was a comment for repealing it that she had not made. I walked her through how to report it.
Fuck Ajit Pai and fuck the guys who voted to repeal
