Oh, Joy
We've come to the conclusion that the word "joy" is this year's "moist" -- icky, objectionable, inescapable. Everyone uses it, but everyone is completely tone deaf as to what "joy" means.
As always with the chattering class, they can talk about it until they're blue in the face, but they're completely incapable of experiencing it, or producing it for others to experience.
We suggest banning joy unless the joy yapper can demonstrate that they have genuinely produced it.
