Extra Challenges: By now I’m sure you’ve realized that something big is missing from the fakes we’ve created so far. Use today to rectify that and create your region’s fossil fakemon! Don’t forget to tell us about the fossil it’s revived from, too! If you’ve already got fossils or you feel like being a Gen II-style rebel and not including any, create a common cave-dwelling line instead. Like geodude and roggenrola, you know the sort. Alternatively, let’s try something you don’t usually see with this type—create a rock-type that’s really, really fast!

Day Five: Gonna be a contender

How about a break from trawling through every single type in alphabetical order?

There's not much more impressive than a big, scary pseudolegendary dragon like the one you might've created yesterday. But your region still needs some impressive trainers to pose a challenge to the player, doesn't it? Let's give it one right now: show us a gym leader, a member of the Elite Four, or the region's champion! What do they look like? How would you describe their personality and the way they greet opponents? What type or strategy do they specialize in? If they're a gym leader, what sort of badge do they hand out? Is there a theme to their arena's decor, or maybe a puzzle you need to solve to prove yourself a worthy challenger? (Here's that name list again if you need it!)

Extra Challenge: What's a member of the Pokémon League without, well, a pokémon? Create this character's star battler! Show us the most powerful pokémon on their team, the big gun they pull out when they're done fooling around and are ready to defend their badge/title at all costs! *cue Gen V final pokémon music*

Day Three: Night of the Third Day

Moving along! Create a dark-type fakemon today!

Extra Challenges: Dark-types are usually associated with the night—easier to blend into the darkness and perpetrate all their dirty tricks that way. What sort of dark-type might you encounter more often during the daylight hours? Speaking of dirty tricks, did you know dark-types are technically supposed to be more closely associated with those than with shadows or true evil? (It's why the honorable, usually-rule-abiding fighting-type is super-effective against it, and part of why they never really bothered with a "light type". You do see a lot of the other stuff in practice, though.) Have some fun with that—create a pesky pokémon that doesn't fight fair and loves to play pranks on humans!
