So while I was in NY last week.. I was at the infamous(famous depending on how you see it) Chinatown! Oh Canal St. is one adventure you just can't skip when in NYC! Bargained for many scarves and a MK watch.. which was fun but man are the people selling the handbags on the side of the street ANNOYING!
Nigerian men and old Asian women on the sidewalks constantly saying in your face, "you want handbag? gucci, prada, louis vuitton, chanel. you want?" No man! For the 8th time I've passed by you, I do NOT want a handbag.
One Nigerian man decided to take it a step past the salams and said, "Assalam wa Alaikum." I angrily responded, "Walaikum as Salam." Then he had the audacity to say, "Come get handbag habibti." I flipped ish and said, "DON'T CALL ME HABIBTI," while walking away. Biggest piss off ever! The things these guys will do to sell a fake handbag!
