This wasn't the first time he had found himself somewhere with no rhyme nor reason. It likely wouldn't be the last, either, all things considered but...it would have been slightly better had he gotten more information about things here. No matter. The city itself wasn't awful and there were pieces of it that felt...familiar.
Of course, the familiarities should have ended with the sights. But it was just his luck that it stretched beyond that.
Wherever John found himself, he was never far behind. Or, maybe it'd be more accurate to say John was never far behind him. It was more of an unexpected surprise here than anywhere else he had wound up. Yet, there was no denying it --
Turning the corner from one of the many city streets had him but a short distance away from his brother. He recognized him near immediately, but it didn't seem like he had been noticed at all.
...maybe he could slip back the way he came before that changed?
