Having Chrom catch her while in this state had not been Hannah’s intention. Much to her chagrin, she’d been rather sloppy this time around; while in her own skills and in how she dealt with her victim. Of course, she had been the one to ultimately survive, but her shortcomings in how she handled it were certainly a blow to her ego.
Going to the officer’s home hadn’t been her first choice, either. Merely finding herself closer to his home than her own, and it was the only safe place for miles where she could clean up her own wounds without having to worry.
Of course, she’d figured Chrom would just sleep through her presence, but she hadn’t been as quiet as she’d thought. Seeing him on guard with his gun didn’t phase her- but watching as he dropped the weapon and immediately come to her aid did. Towel at her face, Hannah’s eyebrows furrowed in disbelief as the man held her at her waist, throat feeling dry as he questioned her well-being. It certainly wasn’t the reaction she had been expecting, looking as if he was worried about her.
It certainly was a first, “I-I, uh... I-I’m okay, I just... got a bit carried away?”
Her gaze turned away in embarrassment, finding herself unsure of what to tell him. He was all too aware of what she did, but he’d never shown concern for her before, “I-I promise this doesn’t normally happen, tonight was just a fluke... I-I didn’t mean to bother you so late, either... I-I’m sorry Chrom...”
