“you just couldn’t resist buying them a giant tub of ice cream, huh?” arms cross over her chest, head shaking slightly, as she watches both boys scurry off. they’re bustling full of energy, which is nothing new, but the added effects of all of the ice cream they had just finished eating had definitely amplified that. “how are you feeling, anyway? you haven’t talked much about steve since. . .” she quiets herself, not wanting to upset her brother. “i won’t ask you if you’re okay because i know you. but, i just want you to know that you’re not alone, sam.”
