im done declaring im not anti semitic
everytime i open my mouth for the Palesinian people, i get hit with the same questions and stares. "are you anti semitic, do you hate jews, are you a nazi, do you hate hitler, on and on and on" yall sound like a bunch of fucking idiots. im a fucking human, and above all I am a Muslim. I would never be anti semitic, I would never support Hitler, I do not wish death and destruction upon the Jews and those of the Jewish faith. My faith does not permit hatred.
It is so damn exhausting tho that everytime anyone, those on social media, or actual colleagues and peers support Palestine and basic fucking human rights, they feel the need to follow up with "i am not anti semitic" THATS WHAT THE FUCKING GOVERNEMENT WANTS YOU TO SAY. they have made this an issue of anti semitism when that is the last thing this genocide is. Even if it was Muslims oppressing Palestines, I would speak up. I see people making posts for Palestine but the main message is, "you can support palestine and still not hate jews, you can support palestine and not be a nazi" like stop making your underlying message that you are not anti semitic, make your underlying message that the Palestinians are struggling and they deserve freedom
so when i chant "free palestine" stop expecting me to say "im not anti semitic, i love jews" because this struggle and protest is not about my love for jews but about the liberation of Palestine and peace for the citizens of Palestinians, regardless of their faith.
