Mouse Guard Fall 1152 (book 4 of 6) by David Petersen
October Reading: Day 8
Yesterday I didn’t have a moment I could do this, but I’m here now! Day Eight for the October/Halloween book recs is “Mouse Guard: Fall 1152″ by David Petersen. Along with beautiful artwork, you get an adventurous story featuring mice from their cities’ guard. I’m recommending this one because it takes place in fall!
Mouse Guard! Back in 2017 I GMd a campaign as a sequel to the one my friend GMd and I made character sheets for the NPCs that would be appearing in it. Here are the main characters of the comic book series. The books take place in Fall and Winter of 1152 and the campaigns took place in 1170 and 1171, respectively. Mouse Guard, Gwendolyn, Saxon, Kenzie, and Lieam (C) David Petersen
Death is as powerful a weapon as it is an easy escape. Heroes can pass in to legend, legends into myths, myths fuel new heroes.

Let’s talk about Mouse Guard. You ever hear of this Eisner Award-winning gem? It’s an absolute anthropomorphic delight. We discuss the first volume, Fall 1152, and we really think you’ll dig it.
Also, FREEEEEEEDOM comes in the way of our First Issue Reviews getting tossed in the garbage. Now each episode we’ll review whatever the heck we want! A single issue, a whole series, anything! This time we talk about Irredeemable: The Complete Series, A Matter of Life, Daredevil Vol. 3 #31, Batman/Superman #4, and The Walking Dead #1: 10th Anniversary.
We love your letters, folks. We really do. Send us one and become our best friend. [email protected]

I don't read graphic novels, generally, but I just ordered the first of this and I'm pretty excited for it.
