.0234. just realized a few hours ago it hit me that i'm already at my dream hospital. i feel like the craziness idea of it kinda passed already considering i'm already learning so much, and keeping updated with emails by the staff. all i need to do is get into a school, pass hesi exit every time or however other test is designed to be made up, get cumlaude on somethings (for the parents), graduate, then the nclex, and basically tell my manager a month or two ahead of time that i'll be done with school, have them review me and observe my awesome bedside skills that i've learned from the staff, and basically still work at my dream hospital and get the dream position of working there. or NMH in the city bc my studio apartment🌸☀️🏙
#personal#i had a dream the other day that Carolyn/CC one of the really great lead preceptors/nurses for the day shift#was precepting me regarding a patient with L elbow arthroplasty#and this was similar to a patient i had the beginning of the week who was standby assist#fall precautions#and clear liquids eventually turned liquid restricted#double accu ice bags#liquid restrict was due to low sodium soooo family wanted to make sure she was breathing lol and getting enough rest#but idk who the patient was in the dream and either..i was specialized in orthopedic and other things#or just a fresh graduate precepting#lmao#i'm talking with him rn#and i like how he used to be nigh shifts too#and i need more friends i can talk to about this#and i wanna share my skills with them so they can perform better at work or clinicals#it almost feels like the pressure is who can outperform in the next clinical rotation :/#i didn't enjoy my last work environment at all#and my fellow colleagues and nurses at work warned me about nursing homes anyway#i just like how i'm closer to work now considering it's only a 15-20min drive at night
