they just run through waves of arrows not realising that it’ll actually hurt, a fallen immortal who’s body is just so full of wounds that just wont heal bc they forgot they were mortal. Them just crashing to their knees, eyes unfocused from the pain and asking themself when will it go away.
They lay in a puddle of their own blood deliriously smiling, because they don’t know their dying. But they feel a creeping sense of unknown terror as life seeps from the cracks of their fingers.
but they laugh because they have long forgotten the feeling of death, and fear when they finally realise that the blood seeping from them is red instead of gold.
