I will leave this to the readers' interpretation. I haven't felt the need to read or write lately, but this morning I worked to create this.

A point of ponderous thought....how easily we believe the mirage. Someone else's vision, words, even "The Great Promise"...

My thought is simply this..resonance. it's that feeling you get, instinctual on some level, when you hear, see, or perceive in anyway something that has a feeling of "right-ness" in your soul. You know, but don't know how that what is resonating is the truth. Ever felt that? I feel that at very unexpected times. I trust my feelings.

Don't believe what is told, question everything. Plato said that by doing that, we have achieved the highest form of intellectual thought. I do. I won't swallow delicious bait that is a lie, I'd rather eat the sour truth anyday. But for many, truth is something desired sweet and so the enjoy it, becoming obese on lies.

To me life is like threads crossing. You meet somebody just for a small moment and then you move on. Not everyone who comes into your life is meant to stay there. Some become really good friends, but life has the timing off...its not ready for you two or too late and it's simply not comparable. This piece of poetry was written for a person who I met unfortunately out of the wrong time and a little bit too late; but she is my special friend nonetheless and I will love her for as long as that is possible. So enjoy, I don't write many of these....

This is an unusual and unique to me piece of storytelling poetry. It's not meant to be metaphorical or an analogy for anything. There are no special or hidden connotations planted here or there. It's simply a unique creation designed to tell of a dream, a very vivid dream that I had one night. And it was such a powerful dream, that it stayed with me all day, till after work and I was able to jot notes enough down to work this one out. This was a little work for me.
