Also- I have to apologize for the radio silence, Uni started and things are hectic more-so than ever before for me so I’ll be on a kind of unsure hiatus for the next month or so. I want to work on this blog and draw more in my downtime but even our downtime has been ripped from us because of poor management thanks to Uni >.> but yeah for now enjoy this quick doodle I definitely didn't do in the middle of my zoom class

Something I wanted to draw after getting this question yesterday about Elle’s hair! Gaster was curious about it’s mysterious properties and asked Elle if he could try touching it. Elle doesn’t mind but definitely finds it amusing and perhaps endearing- how odd he can be at times.

Some stress relief doodles of something that's been swirling in my head for a little while now- a Fell AU that has a lot of dancetale’s elements and concepts 👀  More about the AU below:

I’m thinking that in this AU the monsters dance but aggressively and with intent to hurt or sometimes kill each other, so literally ‘battledances’ and because of that ‘strength’ culture- the monsters only really respect those they deem strong.

So when Elle meet’s Gaster he notices her dancestyle as different, it’s not with the intent to hurt others and that’s odd to him, in fact he looks down on it at first as naive. But he can’t help being morbidly curious about how things might turn out for her and decides to tag along/observe her progress through the underground.

However as this goes on, watching her battle other monsters he notices how no matter how often she is knocked down she keeps getting back up to keep dancing her way... and that eventually earns his utmost respect for her resilience and strength.

“What are you two up to?” “Oh Gaster- you gotta check this out- turns out Elle knows how to play guitar and sing! Isn’t that awesome?” “Ah- it’s really not that great... I didn’t even know I could until Sans lent me his guitar and I just... started playing like I’ve known how to my whole life... we’re thinking maybe it’ll help me remember more than just how to play.”

Time to finish the night with a sneak peek of Gaster trying to talk Elle out of something... But just what is it that Elle’s tryna to do that has Gaster so concerned? I’ve been resisting the urge to draw spoilery stuff for a while but alas I caved for this one aaaaa I reeeally had to get it out my system. This will probably make 0 sense to you guys but I promise there’s going to be an awesome buildup to this pivotal point in their story! er... eventually when I get to finishing writing the last of the plot and then finally start drafting pages.

So uh.... Fallentale!Gaster huh???? Not only is he fun to sketch but I totally have some ideas about his habits, like how he keeps his ‘main hands’ in his pockets pretty much 24/7 and uses his floaty hands for everything else. The only time he takes his hands out his pockets is if hes fiddling with his coat, or he really trusts whoever/whatever hes letting touch his main hands. The reason for that being that he is easily overwhelmed by touch and can get a bit of a sensory overload from it, so using his magic hands means less stimulus and less likely to overwhelm him!
