"how are you even so confident that i would come?" harim purses her lips, shooting the other a look. "that i would actually come and bail you out of jail. why even me?" shaking her head, she briefly gives them a once-over. what trouble did they even get into? that she's the one they thought of calling. "...are you okay? you might as well be honest with me now that i'm here and if you want my help."

"there's like, twenty minutes before this year ends," jaeha starts, glancing at the other as a rather mischievous grin starts to tug on his mouth. "so this is the perfect timing for you to confess on any failed new years resolution for this year. or anything that you wanted to do but never did." as far as he knows, he has quite a few himself. though he's more interested in the other's life rather than sharing his own. "come on. spill a secret or two! you know you can tell me anything."

while rian enjoys being showered with compliments and people appreciating, enjoying the horror content she puts out, however she isn't entirely a big fan of meeting her supporters in person. probably due to this strange idea she's been obsessing over that there should be some mystery behind the person who draws all the gory and scary stuff online. that's what it is all about right? just the right amount of mystery and unknown, that makes it all too intriguing. and that's how she somehow ends up wandering to the staff only area of the event hall, leaving her assigned booth in an event staff's care, while she entertains herself glancing and touching the various props left behind by other events. "oh! i didn't see you there!" the sudden movement of someone else in her peripheral vision causes her to look up. "washroom's that way." rian points in a random direction rather shamelessly, a lie coming easily to dismiss the other unprompted and not the slight bit worried about the fact that she could have easily been caught for pretending to be a staff at this area. "and i'm gonna head this way. don't get lost!" with a brief wave, she ducks into a random room down the hallway instead, making her escape.

"you know what i like the most about new year parties? free booze." yijeong muses, holding up the beer can in her hand and gives it a lazy wave. though she wishes there was something stronger, but this would have to do for now. "and you know what i hate the most? new year resolutions and how everyone is always so eager to ask and share that. it's annoying, don't you think so?"

between the cheon siblings, youha has always been the more optimistic one, always looking forward to the new year. yet there's only one thing that she hates during new year's celebration: fireworks. she isn't sure when this little annoying thing of hers started, but the closer the time nears midnight, the more restless she gets. there's simply no escaping the firework tradition during this time, the whole world celebrating and cheering and the sky exploding with beautiful patterns and colors. hiding in the kitchen when the first round of fireworks starts, the petite female has been busying herself with watching cups of the party attenders, hoping to distract herself from the loud sounds outside when a sudden firework that sounds exceptionally loud ( to her ) causes her to drop the ceramic mug. "shit!" her hand trembles when she bends down to pick up the pieces, somehow grateful that no one is here to witness this little embarrassing accident. the sound of the mug breaking couldn't have been louder than what's going on outside, right? sudden movements at the entrance of the kitchen causes her to glance up, only to meet eyes with the other. "oh are you here to grab a drink? just use any of these clean cups here. don't mind me, i'll clean this up."
