On June 15th, 1989, the divorce of Courtney Love and James Moreland was finalized. Actually, it wasn’t so much a divorce as it was an annulment. The couple’s marriage ended after only three months, and for the most part, the first marriage of the wife of Kurt Cobain’s widow has been wiped away from history.

But if you dig down into that rabbit hole, you can find some information about the marriage and Falling James Moreland, less known as the cross-dressing frontman for The Leaving Train and more known as Love’s first husband, who also produced the first single on Hole’s debut album, “Retard Girl.”

Ok, this is from the Trains' last album. They put out SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much amazing alternative shit on SST in the 80's and mid-90's it'll make you sick if you have the means and the want to check it out!

Falling James (Courtney Love's first husband) is one of the finest rock-o-philes there is, ANNNNND he makes some of the finest Alterna-Punk EVER, for like 2 fucking decades!

I own all the Trains records, but most aren't on my compy, and Spotify only has their last album from 2001... which is still a fine ender.

But seriously, check them the fuck out! They will make you rage. Falling James Moreland is a master RNR songwriter. He makes Johnny Thunders look like an incompetent junkie bitch, in my humble opinion.

Plus, he's a real nice guy (we used to AIM all the time, back in the day)
