I love all of the characters but in the latest pages Anino is really getting to me (positively). I relate a lot to being that kind of knowitall kid that needs to assert how mature and confident they are and I love how much detail you put into expressions on superficially very simple character design. I can really see how much it's getting to Anino, which is very funny because as a kid I was a LOT more like Ilaw.
This is also helping me get super emotional about Cardagon. I've always had a soft spot for characters who "seem less approachable" but care a lot more than they seem to, and Cardagon's whole design lends well into that- their sharp, elegant looks vs. the delicate precision they move with. It's a very fun contrast to Far who's ALSO very overtly a "tough outside softer inside" but more of the classic brusque rough angle.

and it did give my a mini heart attack but then I read your message and I'm crying happy tears now.
It makes me so happy, really. Anino so far has been the scariest for me out of the main cast to write just for the fact that she is the "know-it-all" child character that is scared of being wrong.
I feel like it can be easier to fit negative traits into an adult character since they're more realized and fleshed out from both their story and the life they've lived. (they have more metaphorical padding if you will)
Kids are still a work in progress. Blank canvases still being filled out. I think it can be really easy to make a kid character annoying.
So really, thank you for saying all that and gosh I'm so glad peeps are taking a liking to Cardagon as well I cannot WAIT for you guys to learn more about them!!
