Ghost Dance by omphalos Holy chicken nugget this was amazing and painful and amazing BUT HOLY CRAP IT WAS SO FULL OF PAIN. It's full of angst and takes place after the apocalypse and all I can say is that it's really really good

The Mute!Cas Verse by Princess_Aleera Obviously from the title Cas is mute but Dean is there (most of the time) to show him support and love, except for the times when his emotional constipation makes him run away. I've read this multiple times because it makes me happy and Cas is freaking cute

The Pillow Verse by (uh I think thepillowverse I'm not sure but I linked the ao3) I've read this one multiple times too and there's some serious fluff and sexytimes. So, give it a read!

Ugly Sweater !Verse by nerdylittledude Yes I know all of these so far are multi chapter fics but they're all really good! I've read this one multiple times too (yes I do have a life outside of the internet so don't think I sit on my laptop and read fanfic all day). Cas is freaking cute and who doesn't like ugly sweaters?

Of Shampoo and Fruit Flies by almaasi This fic was completely different from anything I've ever read. Cas is autistic and this fic deals with his quirks and how people don't understand him and will treat him differently and even meanly because of their lack of understanding. Dean is there to pad out the harsh world for Cas and this is seriously a great read. 

Fragments of Light by jimmynovakisaved So I was scrolling along my dash late at night and Fea had just posted this so I decided to read it. Guys this fic is amazing. It encapsulates that suffocating fog that weighs you down and she puts into words the feelings that you have, but don't know how to express. This fic didn't make me cry, probably because I was so overwhelmed after reading it. But I messaged her right away to thank her for writing it and her response was so sweet and encouraging that that's when I started crying and then I cried myself to sleep because Fea is such a lovely person and she's so encouraging and caring and I can't thank her enough for being there 

the inexhaustible silence of houses by Askance LORD JESUS THIS IS A FIC. I read it because anastiel linked it in a fic rec tag AND OH MY GOD I CRIED AND THEN I MESSAGED THE AUTHOR BECAUSE BRUH YOU'VE GOT TO READ THIS. I actually thought it was going to be a House of Leaves-esque fic BUT IF YOU READ IT MESSAGE ME BECAUSE IM STILL NOT OVER THE THING and once you read it you'll know what thing I'm talking about

Thursday's Child by wyntereyez As a forewarning this is an mpreg and "Thingstiel" fic and I know some of you aren't into that but thisfeliciasday linked me and I really like it. Basically theres a destiel baby and stuff happens but the one bad thing about this fic is that THERE IS ONE CHAPTER LEFT and normally I would just wait around for it to be updated later but I had to ask the author bec I liked this so much and DON'T WORRY IT HASN'T BEEN ABANDONED

Tangled Roots by ashleyerwinner So Dean and Cas are kids. Basically to quote the actual fic, "Dean has special eyes. He sees me even when I go invisible"

Safe Spaces by Dustline I've read all of Dusty's fics and they're all amazing but this one just stuck with me

okay so there was one fic and it's kinda cracky but I have no idea what it's called or who wrote it and I've been searching for the last 20 min but I can't find it. Basically it starts off with Dean jacking off to a porn video of a woman flicking her tongue on the head of some guy's dick and Dean is so fascinated that he doesn't realize and doesn't hear when Cas appears and instead keeps jerking off. And once he notices and subsequently freaks out, Cas is like I'll wait and its really cracky and Cas ends up giving Dean orgasms and does a thing where he replenishes the fluid in Dean's balls and its really cracky and funny so IF YOU KNOW WHAT ITS CALLED LET ME KNOW
