I had a few questions about livs age and I cant remember if you mentioned any of these in the mag series 😭 how old was liv in s1 of mag? like 25/26? i think we talked about that one a bit. how old was she when she was taken from her family? and how old was she when she left the red room? + around what age would she have started kind of going against dreykov before leaving? or did she just leave out of the blue?
i don’t think i’ve ever specifically mentioned her age but in s1, i pictured her about the same age i assumed matt was (in my head, im right about it too. idk if anything ever specifically talks ab his age either) which is about 26 yeah. so by the end of the netflix canon, she should’ve been about 32. i think i have her about 2 years older than yelena but younger than nat.
she was given to the red room when she was two years old. her parents were approached several time for a few months after she was born but her mom didn’t want to give her up. marina (mom) decided to take her on the run but after a few years and a dozen different cities, rafael (dad) got tired of it and made the “hard choice” to have her over for a fat check
now her red room background… so i started piecing this when i started playing with the ideas of her void rooms. it kinda starts when she’s nine, the first time she has to kill someone herself. she was told it was only gonna hurt him but she watches a boy her age die bc of her. then there’s when she’s a few years older and june is brought in, livia is challenged to kill her to ‘protect her legacy’ in the red room. she refuses, obviously, but it really lets those seeds of doubt take root. i’d say she left when she was 20/21?
