Its kinda weird but for some reason I adore this loading screen theme, I dont know why but it always just feels like Arty’s theme idk lol. I know it loops but I just am very drawn to it and I listen to it a lot when I draw Arthur.

It’s not hard to see the beauty in a lakeside retreat, sunlight dappling its white gold across the rippling surface. The breeze is gentle, constant, a welcome reprieve from the beratement of the heatwave coursing through the plains. its beautiful here. All quiet calm in a realm all its own. A place one could pretend they weren’t hounds at their heels, barking and nipping any time footing slipped or paces slowed. By the camp’s standards and what frozen hellscape they’d just barely made it out of, this is a veritable paradise and John would have had to agree. If it wasn’t for the palpitating mass of death brushing farther and farther up the shore, whispering its sirens song and beckoning in the feeble minded.

“Its god awful the way man is never satisfied. Too hot, too cold, they’ll complain about just about anything.” Uttered more for self placation than any real disdain John’s eyes are on the horizon decidedly far away from the threat of water, knife in hand and carving out the weeks old grime caking up under iron-like keratin. He should have himself a proper bath, claw out the dirt staining the rest of him until he shines like new but the idea of wading even knee deep into that yawning monster sends chills down his spine. Best he keep both heels in the solidity of the bank. If Abigail complains he stinks, she ought to bathe him it’d be the first time she touched him in...god how long’s it been now?

The sound of grass shifting beneath a heavy boot, spurs jingling softly in his wake is the first sign Arthur Morgan’s near. Its a distinct sound, softened by the years of wear and yet so well oiled they gleam like new in the morning light and no other spur’s come so close.

“Well look who it is. Back from your vacation out there, Arthur? Where the hell you been?”
