I know Disney is stuck on this teens are our target audience bullshit but Ben should not have been crowned king at 16. Not only is his father still alive and well and can be king, but he’s too fucking young. I would get Crown Prince where that would give him some legal abilities (like his decree) but full king should have at least waited til 18, 21, or you know when most people inherit the crown at the death of the person who had the crown by birthright (ie Beast, so Belle could still be alive as Queen Mother). But no Disney decided a 16 year old king was a good idea.
