It’s pretty clear that the “will Lucy rub off on the Ghoul or will the Ghoul rub off on Lucy or will they meet somewhere in the middle?” is a PR approved line for them to share and that they’ve been media trained on it, which means that the higher ups are worried about them spoiling more about Lucy and the Ghoul’s plot and I think Walton in particular would be gushing over ghoulcy in every interview and sharing his elaborate headcanons lol
