Fallout 4 in Survival Mode

I wanna try the Survival Mode since a long time. My boyfriend played only like that, i loved following @flannelshirtandjeans with her survival playthrough, so why not ! But i didn’t except it was so difficult !

She’s sick every three or four sleeps, even in a good bed, even in a safe place ! That’s insane. Thanks to chemist perk, she can craft her antibiotics and everything she needs.

She always thirsty/hungry. I know, i am too, but in a fight “you’re thirsty” ... NOT THE RIGHT TIME ! Stimpaks makes her thirsty, Radaway hungry ... she spends her life with water and food.

Some ennemies can kill her in one shot. Deathclaws ok, but Mireluks and sometimes by a bullet but i don’t know where is the shooter ! How can i defend myself ?

I always thank the Mysterious Man, he comes everytime i’m in a really trouble ♥ Thanks man ♥

I’m always overcrowded ! I have only necessary (three weapons, my outfit and protections, water and food). Hopefully, i have the mod “Backpacks of the Commonwealth” for saving my life. And i gave bag to some companions, otherwise they can carry so few !

I tried a camp mod but i don’t like camping. On sleeping bag, she can sleep only three hours, and i don’t talk about ennemies near my camp. I prefer NEST, with some bunkers. Sometimes there are ennemies but most of them are safe ... and with a bed ! I also buy Home Plate and download a mod for a tiny flat in Goodneighbor (the Maccready’s flat in my Gloria Story)

I use Survival Options, but only for console commands for my screenshots. No fast travel or others cheats, just for that !

In survival, i can’t save anytime, only when my character sleeps. Thanks to the mod, Smokeable cigarettes ♥ a save is create when she smokes cigarettes/cigar/joints. And the animation is so cool ♥

I died so many times xDD now, when Gloria die, i take a screenshot. Some of them just fory you !

In conclusion : try Survival. Frustrating sometimes, but really enjoying ! ♥

Goodneighbor (1)

Gloria and Nick came back in Diamond City (and Danse in the Police Station), the told with Piper about this crazy story. She was surprised to see her friend here, huged her. Ah, adorable Piper ! “Goodneighbor ... you seem happy to go there.” She sighed, Nick and his eternal sarcasm ... Before, traveling to Goodneighbor, she needed to clean herself, change her clothes and drink. “Piper, can i stay here tonight ? I don’t want to see Cait ...” “Of course, Blue ! My home is your home.” She slept on the sofa for the night and take a day break.

But she had no choice. After bringing back Cait in the Combat Zone, not without guilt, Piper, Nick and Gloria came in Goodneighbor. “If Hancock saw you ...” “He’ll know i’m here, he’s the mayor. I will join you in a few minutes in the Memory Den. I need to say hi to an old friend.” During this late afternoon, the Third Rail was full of chem addicts, thugs and helpless people, and Gloria crossed the room for the VIP section. She didn’t see McCready since his escape from the Gunners a year ago but she knew he was working there, as a mercenary.

He wasn’t alone, and unfortunately, she knew too well these men. Winlock and Barnes. They threatened MacCready, she wanted to intervene but stopped herself. Gloria stepped back and hid nearby. When they left, she entered. “Hi, RJ.” He was chocked, didn’t except to see her again. He jumped from his chair and took her in his arms. “Gloria ! I thought I would never see you again !” He ran away a year ago, Gloria (aka Sergeant Jane) was her accomplice. “You always have trouble with this jerks. What did they want ?” He shruged. “As usual. Show their muscles, threaten me, ask me for money, and if I saw you. But you, what are you doing here ?” Long story short, she explained in few words about her brother. She promised to share a drink with him after the Memory Den, she just wanted to say hi before ... troubles.

“Help me to find this son of a b*tch, my good boy.”

Early morning, Gloria came back to Diamond City with Danse. The unlikely squad with an ex-gunner, a synth detective, a Paladin of the Brotherhood of Steel, and a dog in front. A long way to Fort Hagen. A huge place with turrets, synths and traps. And his voice, his rough voice, asking him to turn around, to give up. Finally, she meet this man, Kellogg.

"And there she is. The most resilient woman in the Commonwealth.” “You murdering, kidnapping psychopath. Give me my brother ! Give me Natale ! Now !” Of course, he wasn’t here. The vault baby either. And the man in front of her, how could such a polite man be a bastard ? Gloria is angry, desperate to find her brother, take this unexpected second chance ... “Where is he ? Where is my brother ? And this baby from vault 111 ? You killed a father and her mother is dead by radroaches. You destroy families !” He smiles, uncompromising.

“What’s the cliche ? So close but so far away ? That’s Natale. And Shaun. But don’t worry, you’ll die knowing they’re safe, and happy, in a loving home. The Institute.” A heavy blow, her eyes misted up and her voice broke under threat. “F*ck you, Kellogg.” He gave her another chance to leave. “Let him go. Your time’s done. Your brother is exactly where he belongs.”  “NO !” A desperate scream. “Here. The Institute. I’ll find my brother no matter where he is.” She was fixed, and Kellog was impressed by this woman, and chuckled. “You know you surprise me, i have to admit. I find myseld actually kind of ... liking you. And I admire your dedication after all this time.”

But enough talking. Kellogg and the synth attacked first. Danse and Valentine, took the robots, Gloria can shoot Kellogg and finally kill him with a laser in his head. But his death solved nothing ... Seated on the step near the corpse, she tried not to cry. “Soldier, have you seen this ? In his head ?” She didn’t listen, but the detective approached. “Wow, all this tech. You were barely human ...” He took some cybernetics elements. “Maybe, we’ll have answers with that.”

Without a word, Gloria left this place. She would give up again. “Soldier, i will help you in this mission, i promise.” “Gloria, this is just the beginning.” “Woof !”  She looked her squad with a sad smile. She wasn’t alone ...

“Hey, you. I don’t know who you are, but we got three minutes before they realize muscles-for brains ain’t coming back ! Get this ... holy shit ! You ?”

Nick didn’t expect to be rescued by anybody, let alone her. She disappeared one day after a case together, just a note “I give up, sorry” and nothing since. And now, she’s behind this window ... is that a synth arm ? So many years, so many things to say ... The door is open “Let’s go Nicky, i’m here to save your metallic ass !”

Out the vault, the detective looks the sky and his stars, and Gloria. She hasn’t changed much, just a new haircut and this burn in her front. And this fucking arm. She speaks first “Ellie told me you were in trouble. Again. I need you Nicky, i have new informations about Natale.” Silence. “And what are we waiting for here ? Come on, doll !”

Gloria and Paladin Danse in three meeting.

1. Near Westing Estate, Gloria left the Gunners with some stuff, burned her tattoo on her forehead and run faster as she could. She met the Recon SquadGladius, in trouble with mutants. She never knew why, but she helped them, she cared Knight Daws, and gave them some supplies and a map with some roads and places, like the Cambridge Station. And she disappeared in the darkness. Few minutes later, the Squad met angry Gunner, they asked if they saw a thief, a traitor, and Danse gave them a wrong direction.

2. Cambridge Police Station, few monts later. Gunners were never north’s Charles River, Gloria found a Red Rocket Station and began a new life, between mercenary, trader and scavenger with her new dog and her eyebot companion, Emmett. But her luck wasn’t eternal and they found her near Lexigton. Her robot destroyed, her dog hidden, she was seriously injured, her robotic arm was broken and her left leg hurted. She succeed to walk and followed Dogmeat, looked for a shelter. She walked a lot and saw lights in the Police Station. Knight Daws recognized her, nd opened the gate. Hayled healed her leg and Gloria stayed few weeks with the Squad. Knights Worwick and Brach were dead at Corvega, Rhys despised Gloria and she told her story. When her arm functional again, she could leave, but Paladin Danse asked her to stay, and to be in the Brotherhood of Steel. After a refusal, Gloria disappeared again.

3. Cambridge Police Station (2), two months later. A revelation, Gloria explored around Red Rocket Station and found a vault, vault 111. Inside, she found a dead woman and an holotape … Horrible crime, a family tragedy and … his voice, this criminal, rough voice, terrifying, she knows him : the man kidnapped her brother, Natale. In a hurry, she ran to Diamond City, find Nick ! But, in Cambridge, ghouls attacked the Police Station ! Without a doubt, Gloria shot and entered in the courtyard, and helped Danse against ferals and saved the last member of the Squad : Danse, Haylen and Rhys. After Keane's funerals, Gloria would help this people, but first of all, she needed to go to Diamond City. Nick was missing but before rescue the detective, go to ArcJet System. Danse really wanted Gloria in the Brotherhood, she explained her story : her brother kidnapped, the abandonment, the Gunners, and now hope, she had to rescue Nick Valentine above all ...

Gloria. Ex-Vault Dweller (Vault 81), she has been recruited by Gunners and lost her arm during a battle. She gave up Gunners, and now, Gloria’s looking for her brother, kidnapped few years ago ...

Yeah, i’m back in Fallout 4 ... in survival !
