You’ve never known true pain until you’ve had to take family fall pictures. The long car ride to get to the specific spot your mom spent hours choosing. Setting the camera up in that specific spot. Taking those photo bursts of ten pictures at a time. Your jaw is HURTING and your eyes are BURNING from staring straight into the BLINDING RAYS OF THE SUN for extended periods of time and your dad goes “WHY CAN’T YOU LOOK. JUST LOOK IT’S NOT THAT HARD. LOOK I CAN DO IT” and the kids are being UNCOOPERATIVE and your mom has to go check the camera every time to look through the pictures and there’s not a single good one so she sets it up AGAIN and runs back before the timer goes off and then after doing that FIFTY THOUSAND TIMES we’re all just tired and want to go home and your parents start yelling “do you WANT candy or NOT? THEN SMILE AND THEN WE CAN GO HOME” and then your mom finally gives up going “there’s gotta be an okay one in there somewhere” but there’s really not and you all just look like psychopaths
And after all that you just realize how much you really really REALLY love your family. So... so... much.
