Planning Your Next Fall Getaway in LA

One of our Scout Guide Edmond members, Drenda Roberts with Bentley Travel Design, took a trip to Los Angeles, California a couple of weeks ago, and proved that LA was the perfect quick getaway for the Fall!

Where to Stay

The Beverly Hills Hotel, with its elegant and spacious rooms, beautiful outdoor pool and full-service spa is an oasis by itself. The hotel, which was originally built in 1970 has been renovated and remodeled to be more modern but has kept all its original charm at the same time. The pool features underwater music, private cabanas and one of the onsite dining options, the Polo Lounge, is known to be a popular dining spot for celebrities.

Where to Eat 

Casual : For a casual dining experience, The Tripel touts itself as a perfect neighborhood hangout spot. With a menu that includes their famous Tripel Burger and Sweet Potato Tots as well as several different pasta dishes, there will be something for everyone. The restaurant is also known for is rotating beer list on tap, so get ready to try a couple!

Enjoy the ultimate dining experience with a 360-degree view of LA at the 71 Above Restaurant and Sky Lounge. At 950 feet above ground level, this is the tallest restaurant west of the Mississippi. This romantic dining option serves their guests each night with a three-course dinner. With several options for each course, your dinner is still catered to your unique pallet.

Known as a spiritual oasis in the city, the Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Garden is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the hustle and bustle of a big city.
