🚣♂️ Capsized canoes 🛶 on the Kenai River, unexpected allies 🤝, and a true test of wilderness survival 🌲🐻 "We were in our canoe, gliding like lords over glass, the river was a mirror reflecting a brilliant blue sky. The tranquility was just begging for a bit of chaos, and boy, did we deliver. Our canoe went under and we were diving head-first into the icy underbelly of Kenai’s wild waters. It was a mad scramble for survival, a tug-of-war between man and nature, each of us churning against a 7 mph current."
