Fall tv is here! I would like for you to introduce me to new shows as I will, hopefully, introduce some to you! So....let's go with the first new show! The Good Doctor Monday ABC 10 PM EST The show begins with Dr. Shaun Murphy (played by Freddie Highmore of recent Bates Motel fame) a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome saving a young boy who has been injured by a freak accident at an airport. The good doctor hails from a small town, where he had a troubled childhood. The show takes you on flashbacks so you can sympathize with his past that is being harshly discussed by the board arguing over his pending employment. Dr. Murphy has relocated to join the prestigious pediatric department at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital to pursue a surgical residence because of the death of his bunny and his brother which are explained in the flashbacks. He wants to help kids so they can grow up and have families. As with most roles that Mr. Highmore has chosen, The Good Doctor is set up to be a very successful show. The acting is well done as well as the writing and premise. I give it 📺📺📺📺 4 TVs out of 5. On demand it if you can.
