I'm suddenly remembering things about our gods. And with things I know now about the Ancient Falmeri pantheon in this life I've realized that their (our) gods never left them (us), but rather evolved with us and found new ways to help us. I somehow remember that, with Auri-El specifically, he made it so that his sun wouldn't hurt us after we evolved to thrive underground. It didn't nourish us like it once did, but it was safe for us to be in now, and still protected us in some way. That's very kind of him, I think. And it's reassuring to know that our gods were always there with us, even after we were changed so much! -w-

Being a Falmer I wonder what kind of bullshit was happening above ground. Like...Alduin could have been screaming dragons back to life while some crusty old vampire was trying to turn off the sun and some nerd stuck in Nerdland was trying to take over the world and who knows what the Fuck else and I was just like. "Tee hee I taught my chaurus how to click a funny song while I hit this dead Dwemer thing!" and playing tag with my friends. Wild. #✴✴

Playing through the Dawnguard Questline has me feeling like I'm at home, running around the falmer hives. But it hurts so much, having to fight off my kin. Harming other falmer just seems so cruel. The frame's portrayal of us doesn't make it much better, either.

I know there are mods and console commands that can out you in the falmer faction, but I'm playing on the switch and I don't want to figure out modding it....guess I'll just cry (T^T)
