hmmmm….I choose two. RK up front and Kasumi under the cut. {false daughters}

also i have to apologize but i’m skipping 33 because of my broken hand 8′) i’m still drawing but i’m trying to keep it to a “need to draw” basis with IWRY and such!

1. short introduction

RK is a tall, rude, loud rockstar hailing from Boston. Initially her surgery involved trying to modify her legs to withstand friction and wear to get up to high speeds even barefoot, but the surgery failed and she lost her legs. in place, they ran lines to her nerve endings/spine and she has detachable legs. because of her tinkerer nature, she customizes her legs a lot. RK is positive chaos, her colors are hot pink and bleached denim blue, her animal is the cheetah.

lesbian lesbian lesbian and lesbian. was thrown out of her evangelical christian family before she finished high school and thus became a dropout.

10. early life

Prissy dresses that pinched in too many places, stern voices that told her what a lady should and shouldn’t do, long hours in a stuffy church on hard pews. Bruised knees from being forced to pray. Lectures about getting her dresses filthy. How dare you try to be your own person, you’re the eldest, look what you’re doing to your siblings. Put that guitar down unless you play proper music. No guitar, only piano from now on. What’s that, you were kidnapped?

By god’s name, you probably just snuck out to have sex, shoot up with drugs, and play your awful music. God spoke to you by taking away your legs. And still you wish to disobey Him?

her interests and career is set up by her music, loud colors, making press pages by angry shock value, and generally being in the limelight and making uptight people squirm uncomfortably. her hobby is more in the tinkering side with her legs, as well as eating shittons of pancakes at ungodly hours of the morning. she dislikes formal attire and people who LIKE formal attire, religious affiliations, and dislikes being forced to follow arbitrary rules.

kasumi under the cut!!

1. short introduction

Kasumi is a quiet first-generation American in Portland, Oregon who shows little interest or sympathy in much of anything. Her surgery removed parts of her ribcage to make room for spindly “mantis arms” that are strong enough to lift her and climb craggy surfaces. Kasumi’s surgery was one of the only two thought to be successful but before her surgery could be refined the Daughters banded and broke out of the facility. Kas was the one to light the place on fire. Kasumi is negative chaos, her colors are dark grey and blood red, and her animal is a mantis.

Kas is probably multisexual and aromantic.

10. early life

it was a subdued normal suburban immigrant life. small but cozy nuclear family. family back in japan. nothing particularly out of the ordinary. until the strings of bad luck. relatives in japan dying from cancer and freak accidents. her kidnapping and surgery. the death of her mother and brother but her survival in a car accident. the mental decline of her father that led to his suicide.

kasumi’s interest that could be considered a morbid passion is chemistry–specifically gaseous chemicals that cause hallucinations and death. she also has an affinity for causing fear and terror for those she hunts down, making herself akin to death and angels. of the 4 she’s the only one who really makes time for video games as her hobby, as well as enjoying RK’s music the most out of any of them. it’s hard to say what her dislikes are when she really neither likes nor dislikes anything.

Beth is 5’2” human and 5’4” as a Salamander. The two inches go to stretching out her spine in her torso region.

Allen is 6’1” human and 6’3” as a wolf.

Victor is 5’11”

Carmichael is 4’, perhaps shorter since he’s all scrunched up and arthritisy

Rajnish is 6’.

Obviously I was working a lot with the False Daughters last night. Here's a post I'm making for myself to remind myself of things I need to research:

LGBT safe-houses esp. in the Boston area

Restrictions of the TSA/international airline restrictions (can the False Daughters fly on planes? probably not with the exception of RK being a rockstar)

How far the "Americans with Disabilities Act" goes and whether or not the Daughters choose to enact it for certain things

Articles and papers on hairweaves and the racism surrounding a black person's natural hair textures--how "straightening and flattening" hair works, the insecurities surrounding it, etc

Excessive scar tissue/body deformations and health risks

Hallucinogens in gas form; catalysts, volatilizers, dangers

false daughters: mouths and such

Olivia is all mouth when she's happy, big huge baby smiles exposing her throat--basically you'd be surprised if you couldn't see her uvula when she's truly happy and smiling.

RK is toothy--very grr about smiling and smirking. Lip-biting, taking clothes off with teeth, showing teeth when she sings, baring teeth when screaming. Whether it's done for intimidation or simply because she thinks it's sexy/appealing is anyone's guess.

Charleese is the only Daughter that uses lipstick on a daily basis. Her smiles and mouth movements capitalize on this, pursing her lips often in pouts when talking down to someone, moving her mouth in sensual, juicy ways. Smiles always push the lips outwards, and she shows her teeth when she's confident she's caught someone (whether it's in a trap to eradicate them or if it's just for a night of sultry desires doesn't matter to her--her eyes would be the place to look to try and decipher her crocodillian smiles)

Kasumi is a very thin-lipped person. She doesn't move her mouth much when she talks, even when she talks loudly (which is rather rare). She does have a habit of gritting her teeth but her lips are almost always closed and don't showcase this when she's concentrating on something. Extreme focus leads to her mouth hanging open ever so slightly to help her breathe.
