Teen missing four years found alive, hidden behind wall near Atlanta
After being reported missing four years ago by his mother, a 13-year-old boy was found alive, hidden behind a fake wall in a home just outside Atlanta. Police took five people in the home, including the boy's father, Gregory Jean, 37, and Samantha Joy Davis into custody, said Sergeant Kevin Hughes of the Clayton County police. The boy was able to contact his mother on the phone and tell her about his whereabouts. Police went to the home, but Jean and Davis, charged with false imprisonment, cruelty to children, and obstructing police, denied knowing anything about him. The teen managed to call his mother again while officers were in the house to give details about where he was hidden in the home. They returned only hours later to arrest Jean, Davis, and three juveniles who were also charged with obstructing police.
They discovered him hidden behind a false wall in the interior portion of the home.

The boy appeared to be in good physical health and was reunited with his mother. Neighbours said Jean and Davis moved to their Jonesboro home six months ago and kept to themselves. They noted that they boy was not seen leaving the house, even to go to school. Julie Pizarro, 37, said she saw him frequently doing yard work. The boy went missing in 2010 when he visited his father in Florida, WSBTV reported. His mother filed a report with child welfare but not with the police.

My first false wall piece!
Since this won, I finished the series of nine which I am planning on entering in other competitions and shows this summer. I will be putting up a few more if not all of the others in the GALLERY very soon.
ABOUT THIS SERIES I wanted to create a sense of false, exaggerated and saturated decay. With bright colors and hyperbolic textures, the walls turn into something that seems as if it has a life of its own.
